Catherine Asby-Taylor

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine Asby-Taylor, 84, of Huger, SC who entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Pruitt Health, Walterboro, SC.

Catherine Asby Taylor was born on July 27, 1939 in Huger, SC to the late William and Elizabeth Snider.  She was married to Nathaniel Taylor.

Catherine received her education at Charity School in Huger, SC.  She worked as a housekeeper and retail worker.  She also worked at Bull Godwins store and retired after years of working there.  She was a devoted member of Charity AME Church in Huger, SC.

Catherine's six siblings preceded her in death.

Catherine leaves to cherish her fondness memories: Daughter; Brenda(Allen) Williams, Brother in law; Howard Asby, sister in laws; Suzanne Snider, Justine Felder, Rev. Mary Thelma White, Min. Estelle Asby, Ruthie Asby; special niece Lorraine Deveaux, special nephew; Vincent Holback, close friends Mary Carson, and Bertha Nelson and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
