CAROLINA "DORSHAMAE" WHITE-GREENE

It is with profound sadness Divinity Mortuary alongside the Greene, Wilson and Dinkins family announce the passing of Church Mother Carolina White-Greene affectionately called “Dorshamae,” 80, of Goose Creek, SC, who went home to be with the Lord early Friday morning, July 3, 2026, in Summerville, SC.

Dorshamae was born to the late Louis Wilson & Marie Dinkins-Wilson on June 25, 1946, in Berkeley County.

She was a proud graduate of Bonds Wilson High School. She loved the game of basketball and received an award as the “All Star Player” at Bonds Wilson High School.

Dorshamae accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and have been serving the Lord since.

Mother Dorshamae was a faithful member and Church Mother of Jehovah Jireh Life Ministry in Cordesville, SC under the leadership of Pastor Jessie Simmons, Jr.

She loved cooking, the Atlanta Braves baseball team, watching the WWE wrestling and spending quality time with her family and friends. For those who knew her knows how much she LOVED her cell phone. She will be deeply missed by her family, church family and all who knew her.

Dorshamae leaves to cherish her memories her loving children, Melisha (Spencer) Reed and Walter White; loving step-children, Melissa (Mike) Gaines, Patrice (Friday) Tisdale, Robin (Melvin) Williams, Veronica Williams, Jonathan Williams, Rodney Williams, Marcus Williams, Gary Miles, Cephus (Tracy) Williams; bonus children, Ayshia Dent, Marion (Janella) Joshua, Vincent McClellan; special granddaughter and caregiver, Kanosha White; (7) grandchildren, (15) great-grandchildren a dear friend George (Sonya) Pitts and host of many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends 

Dorshamae was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Wilson & Marie Dinkins-Wilson; husband, Lewis Greene; (1) son, John E. White; (2) grandsons; (5) brothers and (5) sisters.

The family will begin receiving guests on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at their residence between the hours of 4:00pm - 7:00pm. Please adhere to the hours given by the family. Continue to uplift the Greene, Wilson and Dinkins family in your prayers.
