Divinity Mortuary, with hearts joined alongside the Augustus family regret to announce the passing of Carl Coleman Augustus, Sr., 93, of St. Stephen, SC who entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 30, 2026.

Carl served our Country in the US Airforce, Chief Master SGT. 🇺🇸

Carl was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Carter and daughter JoAnn V. Augustus.

Carl leaves to cherish his memories his children, Carl C. Augustus, Jr. (Lillian) of Italy, Maria W. Vass-Hart (Darryl) of Summerville, SC and Hans Augustus (Maria) of Williamsburg, VA; grandchildren: Robert A. Williams (Temeka) of Charlotte, NC, Sean A. Williams (Kimberly) of Las Vegas, NV, Teresia M. Phommola (Dodge) of Durham, NG, JoAnn W. Augustus of Germany, Erica S. Augustus of Pittsburg, PA, Leah C. Augustus of Germany, Rebecca K. Augustus of Tampa, FL and Nina W. Augustus of England; brother-in-law: Kenneth Roberts of Atlanta, GA and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family & friends
