Mrs. Brenda K. Mcconnell - Hawkins

Divinity Mortuary alongside the Hawkins and McConnell family regret to announce the transition of Mrs. Brenda K. McConnell-Hawkins aka "Tootsie", 70, of Jamestown, SC who entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the Lexington Medical Center, Columbia, SC surrounded by her loving husband, children and family by her bedside.

Affectionately called "Tootsie" was the loving wife of Bernard "Art" Hawkins, forever loving mother of Rennette Hawkins (Chappelle, Jr.) Capers and Bernard Brandon (Shamekia) Hawkins, (2) grandchildren, Aryonna Hawkins and Riley Hawkins, siblings, Ausy (Rev. Jannie) McConnell, Linda (Willie, Jr.) Levine, Chinette (Billy) Cattle and a host of many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

"Tootsie" was preceded in death by her parents, Ausy McConnell, Sr., and Josephine Grissette-McConnell, siblings, Melvin McConnell, Claudine Morrison, Abraham "Abe" McConnell, Sr., and Lorenzo McConnell.
