We regret to announce the passing of Addison Robinson Sr, 82, of Alvin, SC who entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Heartland Health & Rehabilitation Care Center in Hanahan, S.C.

Life Reflections of Addison Harris Robinson, Sr.

For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die,  we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. Romans 14:8

Addison Harris Robinson, Sr ​was born on October 29, 1938 in Alvin, South Carolina to the late Herbert Wright and the late Ola E Robinson Coulbert. ​Harris​ departed this life peacefully March 18, 2021, in North Charleston, South Carolina. Harris​ was educated in the Laurel Hill Public School System. At an early age, he joined Holly Hill Christian Church in Alvin, South Carolina.

Harris​ was a "Jack of All Trades", skilled in logging, auto mechanics, construction and carpentry. He loved all things outdoors.

Harris​ was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Wright and mother, Ola Robinson Coulbert; brother, William Wright; four children, Addison Robinson Jr, Sharon Robinson, Barbara Ann Goodman, Sabrina McNeil; and a long time companion, Inez McNeil.

Harris ​leaves to cherish his fond memories: his wife, Ethel Robinson; his children, Andrew and Kevin McNeil of Alvin, SC, Tyrone McNeil of Summerville, SC and Willie (Benita) McNeil and Jamie McNeil of Moncks Corner, SC, Allen Robinson of Atlanta, GA and Levant (Hernetha) Goodman of Alvin, SC; two sisters, Albertha Gillard and Edith Mae Gillens of Charleston, SC; four brothers-in-law, Troy Goodman Sr. of Moncks Corner, SC, Robert Goodman Sr. of Alvin, SC, Marty Goodman of Aiken, SC and James (Nora) Goodman Sr. of Alvin, SC; one sister-in-law Annie (Jervy) Washington of Jamestown, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Divinity Mortuary 924 S. Live Oak Dr. Moncks Corner, SC 29461

Graveside Service for Mr. Addison H. Robinson, Sr. will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Holly Hill Christian Church Cemetery, 1808 Santee River Rd. Alvin, SC 29479
